Lillehammer is a beautiful Mountain City in Norway. 1986 Winter Olympics took place here. The Ski Jump area is where the opening ceremonies took place. A truly beautiful area to visit.

A must-see in Lillehammer for Winter Olympic followers, sports enthusiasts, and fans of the Lilyhammer TV series!This magnificent place is located around 1.5km at the top of Lilyhammer. It's a steep walk up so it may be beneficial for some people to get a cab or taxi there.It has a beautiful view of the below lake, and it's amazing to get up close and personal to where the flame burned bright in 1994.Well worth the visit! There are steps if you wish to climb to the top of the ski jump. Or take the cable car up if you want a more relaxed ascension!

Rode the ski lift to the top of the hill to view the countryside. Beautiful views. And, it was great fun watching the skiers do plactice jumps! Also nice to see the stairs up to where the Olympic touch is lit!

It was incredible to stand at the top and look down and infiniti! I don't know of I could EVER let go of the bar. I was afraid I might just slip a bit on the ice and go barrelling down the jump! The snow was AMAZINGLY soft!!!

Chair lift experience...first time for me.I was so scared. Nice views of the surrounding area from the top of the ski hill. The chair lift closes exatly at 6pm. There is a wheel bobsleigh to take photo with. A cafe too for drinks and snacks.

We enjoyed the ski arena that was used in the 1994 Winter Olympics. They have a ski lift you can take or take the stairs. We decided to take the stairs which was very difficult with 936 stairs. The view on the top is amazing. To take the lift was 6.5 dollars a person round trip.
