Norway Adventures

We went on a private tour for 4 people, hiking and kayaking. Norway adventures were TERRIFIC!!! Every detail was well planned, but the guides were very open to changes as we went along.Very professional company and highly recommended.

Norway Adventures planned and organized a wonderful 13 day active trip for us in the fjords. It was meticulously planned and many varied outdoor activities with great accomodations and excellent food. I would highly recommend them for any travel in Norway - they are great!

Norway Adventures designed a custom 12 day trip for us (a family of 4, two boys ages 14 and 12). The trip was fantastic with the highlight being an overnight kayak/camping trip in the fjords. We had a great balance between planned activities and our own adventures. Anne and her team were very responsive both before the trip and while we were there. She took a lot of the stress out of planning - we had such a thorough package of information and ideas sent to us - that I'm a bit spoiled now and don't think I can go back to planning trips myself! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time doing our customized train, boat, and hiking tour. We felt like we saw and experienced all the places we wanted to see during this vacation. The itinerary Anne created was clear and thorough, with just the right amount of pre-planned activities and location guides so we could choose our own activities during the trip. We loved having 2 nights in most places so that we had plenty of time to explore each location. We liked that none of the travel days were too long so we never felt like we had to spend a day recovering from travel. The hotels Anne booked for us were absolutely spectacular and the food was amazing. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful - and when one the bus was running a touch late getting into Hardbakke, the bus driver had already coordinated with the hotel to pick up our luggage and the postal boat was waiting for us. The transitions were seamless! We will definitely be back to Norway to explore more of this beautiful country. We already have friends who are interested in having you recreate this itinerary for them. Thank you so much for putting this amazing trip together for us!

Fantastisk bedrift! Vi bestilte kajakktur for fem personer og det kom en veldig hyggelig instruktør til kaien hvor båten vår lå. Vi fikk god opplæring før vi la ut på en femtimers padletur sammen med instruktøren, som hele tiden var på tilbudssiden mtp hjelp og spørsmål. Hele dagen var magisk! Tusen takk :)

I must confess that I are not in the habit of writing a public review in respect of any vacation undertaken or my experiences thereof. In fact, I had never done so and, definitely, not on an entirely unsolicited basis. Be that as it may, in the instant case, I am remarkably impressed with the service, patience and dedication provided by Anne and her team at Norway Adventures that I felt compelled to go on record with our praise.Indeed, in my humble opinion, their work ethics and diligence far exceeded (and continues to exceed) my expectations and more importantly; they made my time in Norway a truly once in a lifetime experience.By way of background, I contacted Anne sometime in March 2023 in respect of a potential short vacation in Norway in June /July. From the very outset, I found Anne to be kind, genuine, heart-warming, exceedingly comfortable to speak with and above all, she understood exactly what I wanted for my vacation.Between March and June, we kept in touch constantly via video conference, telephone or text messages. In this respect, Anne and her team at Norway Adventures are, without a doubt, a cut above the rest. Notwithstanding my incessant (and often, irrelevant) questions, Anne would always patiently answer every single one and attend to me unwearyingly. In particular, Anne’s ability to explain Norwegian culture, sports science and the travel process in simple and intelligible terms is nothing short of impressive; additionally, Anne’s instrumental assistance in ensuring I understood the same was indispensable.I must place on record that Anne is an outstanding individual and a beautiful human being with exceptional insight and analytical skill; while also demonstrating clarity of thought and cogency in prose. In short, I can state with certainty that Anne and her team at Norway Adventures had undertaken and completed all their responsibilities with spirit and sophistication.From the moment I landed on Oslo Airport until the moment I left Norway, Anne made sure everything went perfectly and seamlessly.Our guide, Anders, could not have been any more perfect. By far, Anders is a gourmet chef, an extremely intelligent and well-read individual, with profound knowledge in sports science and geology and above all else; Anders is a true friend.Anders made breakfast for me every morning would diligently plan each and every day, taking into account the needs and expectations of every single person in our group (notwithstanding the various and sometimes, different interests). His personality and initiative to always go the extra mile to ensure that everyone in the group (including me) get what we want is definitely much appreciated.I should also add that during my time there, Anne even took the time, despite her busy schedule, to invite me to her lovely home for a chat and coffee. I found this to be a very touching and personally moving gesture. In fact, Anne had, time and again, gone above and beyond her obligations simply to assist me in, amongst others, ensuring I had food in the middle of the night when I did not take the correct bus (admittedly, the fault was entirely mine) and all the restaurants had closed.In short, Anne and her team at Norway Adventures had demonstrated an unyielding commitment to customer service, an unyielding commitment to professionalism and most importantly; an unyielding commitment to making sure I had the some of the very best times of my life.In all my years travelling, I had yet to come across any individual / travel company who would conduct themselves with complete professionalism, simply out of their professional, moral and civic duty as fellow human beings. Naturally, the foregoing was only true until I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Anne and her team at Norway Adventures. I am sincerely grateful for their utmost sincerity and devotion.To me, Anne is more than the head of a travel company. She is a true friend. And a close one at that.

Norway Adventures put together a tour for my wife and me; my sister; her friend; and two friends from Atlanta, GA, and the trip was absolutely brilliant. It far exceeded our expectations.

My family of four was eager to get to Norway and hike and kayak our way around the beautiful fjords and the city of Bergen. Anne was a tremendous help in not only planning out our guided tours, but helping us vet overall decisions for our 12 day visit in it's entirety. We did a private tour that included hikes around Kalvag and the glacier and surrounding waterfalls and a 3 day kayak tour where we stayed in amazing secluded cabins with breathtaking views. Anne also recommended and booked an incredible tree hut that felt like it was suspended over perfect views of mountains, villages and a lake. Our hikes and kayaking adventures were awesome and our lodging was unique and special. We couldn't have experienced Norway the way we did without Anne and Norway AdvenTURes.

Very impressed with Norway Adventures! They helped us plan and coordinate a trip for a family of 8 people with an age range from 22 to 85 years old! Just the right amount of clear details for each daily adventure and always had split options for the younger active group and the grandparents so we could all enjoy Norway at our own pace and interest levels for activities. Their hotel choices were perfect and the daily itineraries contain links to driving directions, ferry schedules, downloaded vouchers & tickets. Everything was perfect. Highlights for our family included golfing and staying in a beach cabin in Lofoten, the 3 hour Hidden Fjord Kayak tour, Climbing Mt. Hoven at Loen Via Ferrata overlooking Nordfjord, and the intro walking tours in Oslo, Geiranger and Bergen. We highly recommend Norway Adventures!!
