Really nice store to visit for a slice of contemporary Norwegian cultural history.Shame they didn’t have any shirts in XL. Worker seemed a bit grumpy and hungover.

This is THE record store in Oslo for every metalhead. Not only that the store has a lot of old and sometimes very rare pieces. Vinyl, cds, tapes, shirts, there is something for everybody. On the walls there are a lot of memorabilia of the Norwegian black metal scene and through the basement you’re able to enter the iconic black metal room. Been there the second time after nine years, the owner is very friendly and helpful if you’re looking for something. Don’t forget to write in the guestbook I’m the cellar.

What can I say that others haven't? It's a kvlt piece of metal history, you have to go. I haven't seen a record store like this in 20 years. Buy something and support the place, it's obvious the owner has put a lot of effort into collecting memorabilia. The person working was very friendly and obviously a fan, and she gave a tip about a black metal exhibit" in the nearby national library."

Great place and friendly staff, especially the young lady working on the weekend.She gave us lots of advice of other relevant locations in the area and told us about the Dårlig stemning/ Bad vibes" black metal exhibition at the National library of Oslo
