Nice place next to the ferry with good views to the fjord and the owner is very friendly, I would recommend this place 100%

This place clearly seems to be a hit or miss based on the somewhat shady reviews. Our reality is that they are charlatans and extremely rude and arrogant when things don't please them. For reference, just filter the lowest reviews and see for yourself the remarkably bad and unprofessional attitude they showcase in their replies to the unsatisfied guests. We booked and paid in advance through a third party website only to be told upon arrival that they hadn't received the payment and thus couldn't confirm the booking. We arrived very late and were tired but had to argue with this guy and solve his mess by trying to contact this third party website that this place just recently had started cooperating with. After some discussion we left and felt unwelcomed and fooled although this guy offered us that we could stay anyways. The damaged was already done by this point and our trust broken. This guy showcased a very arrogant and strange behavior and put the responsibility of the booking made on the guest. We contacted the third party booking site and got refunded and they told us that this business had been told how the agreement works and that the payment will be transferred to them according to the contract made between this company and the third party booking site.The camping site itself looked very basic and similar to someone's outside patio. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone solely based on the impressions of it, let alone the attitude and incompetent handling of the person in charge.Avoid this place for a hassle free stay and don't get misled by the peculiar positive reviews.

This was an amazing place to stay!! I can’t recommend it enough. The owner is amazing, he not only upgraded my room but also drove me to the starting point of my hike as I didn’t have a car. I was late coming down and he was concerned so he also drove up to pick me up! His father made dinner for me because all the food places had closed and he wouldn’t let me have a granola bar for dinner. I was leaving on a week-long hiking trip from here and he also let me store my extra stuff until I came back. Really went above and beyond to not just give excellent service to a guest, but to look out for me as a person.The property itself is older and very cozy, with a great view over the water. You can see the ferries going across all day and have a delightful spot to eat out in the garden. It’s right in the middle of town, close to the bus stops, grocery store, and ferry dock.

This was one of the best camping site i have ever been. Me and my family stayed for a night and it was great.

The most amazing place to chill. We got a really nice house- clean, warm with amazing view. The owner is really nice and helpful. You can chit chat a bit, get some trip ideas but still have a lot of personal space. You can go fishing at the area, there are two fully equipped shops nearby. The perfect place to rest between our motorbike trips. I loved it and 10/10 would recommend!

A very warm and personal welcome. Our cabin was basic but comfortable and very clean. The owner provided us with sheets and blankets (at no extra costs).He also pointed us to the best hike ever (skomakarnibba, 5km from the campground).All in all a perfect stay. We can only highly recommend this place!

Impressive hospitality. Very neat rooms with recent repairs. The cabin are beyond praise. An authentic Norwegian house in the harbor. Real comfort comfort and family warmth. I want to stay. The view of the fjord with the dynamic movement of the ferry is breathtaking

This is a very interesting and individual site but with a wonderful and warm welcome from the owner and in particular his Manager. The owner was very proud of his toilet block (built in 1968) which was immaculately clean and there is no additional charge for showers. We arrived with a small caravan, but feel it's better suited to small motorhomes really as we had concern getting off the grass and up the slope when wet! There are pitches where you can see the fjord and watch the transport ferry as it crosses. Or there are pitches outside the house, which is like staying in the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
