Blåfjell gruver

Exciting place but access to the caves seems to be prohibited (a locked gate at the entrance) unless with a guide. I couldn't find any information about guides at the spot but there probably is some information about it on the web.

Wird überall in Südnorwegen als besondere Attraktion hervorgehoben und dann läuft man stundenlang mit seinen 3 Kindern bergauf um endlich am Ziel vor einem verschlossenen Tor zu stehen. Unterirdisch ! Man kann zwar illegal darüberklettern (entspr. Hilfsmittel sind vor Ort) und illegal alles riskant alles besichtigen (starke Taschenlampe mitnehmen!) - aber keinerlei Beleuchtung oder Ausstellung. Unterirdisch ! Mit bisschen mehr Engagement der Gemeinde sicherlich eine echte Attraktion. Einfach mal lieblos eine Schautafel auf dem Schotterplatz davor aufstellen reicht einfach nicht !

Schöner Weg.Verschlossener Eingang.Eigentlich die Mühe nicht wert. Aber die Landschaft entschädigt.

The entire mountain is like a big cheese full of holes. A lot of interresting history here. Unfortunately only the lower and smallest cave are available to the public. It is possible to get to the rest of the caves, but not without risk. It either involves hiking around the mountain or climbing up the cliff-side. Although the upper caves are open and accessible they are chained of with a warning stating that the caves are unsecured and that entry is unsafe and prohibited.

Formidable endroit ! En accès libre à vos risques et périls. Pour la mine du bas on se glisse sur le côté de la grille. Pour celle du dessus un sentier escarpé vous y mène (sur la droite quand on est face à la mine). Pour les autres c'est plus acrobatique... Pensez à prendre une lampe !!
