Einfach eine sehr schöne Tour, rund 70 km lang und man benötigt in etwa 6 Tage um den jøkulen zu umrunden.

Beautiful glacier. Took a two and half an hour to get there from Finse train station. You can take a guided walk on the glacier, or just get near the glacier by yourself as we did. It's not entirely easy just to wander around the place, because of terrain and many rivers, but a path leads there if you are disciplined enough and you don't get lured off by many beautiful spots scattered in this wasteland.

It is dangerous to walk on the glacier without guide and equipment, AND without beeing tied together at lest five persons in one rope!
