Virkelig god madoplevelse, som kan anbefales. Alle råvarer er lokale og tilberedt meget lækkert. De to kokke er meget dedikerede og fortjener den bedste anbefaling.

This is the best Norwegian food I have ever tried! Real Norwegian fine dining! All ingredients are from this region of Valdres and they are prepared into the most delicious unique special local tastes. The chefs are two brothers who grew up on a farm in Beitostølen and they choose and grow the food themselves. They are excellent chefs telling professionally and passionate about the food and how they prepare it. I had cloudberries like in Jotunheimen, the softest baby goat meat only fed grass, birch tree sirup sorbet (didn’t even know this existed!), smoked carrot puré, river pike boiled with hay from the mountains, all kinds of fermented food, and so much more. The restaurant only seats 10 people and the chefs are cooking in front of you. Room is small, cozy and beautifully decorated. We were so lucky to have a private seating with my parents alone with the chefs. It was such a unique experience that we will always talk about. Please go here if you are in Beitostølen, but also worth a visit all the way from Oslo :)
