This is a very special museum. Jan was an excellent guide and the museums follows a very interesting line of thought. It focuses on facts, history and not on religious ideas. It’s surprising and sad that it’s not supported by any foundation which could mean it can end in its closing

The staff were very passionate about the museum and super eager to answer any questions we had. We really appreciated the English guide that gave a comprehensive explanation of the exhibits. There are several rare bibles that were of particular interest. Well done!

Excellent museum. Thank you Tom for the guided tour. You are very knowledgeable e and informative and the topics covered were very interesting. I highly recommend going if you are visiting Oslo.

They staff who are all volunteers were very helpful, friendly and passionate about the bibles in their collection. Really enjoyed it including the English commentary which I assessed by scanning the QR code. Bought some medieval-style pens and book marks as souvenirs. Will return for another visit when I’m back in Oslo!

You can find lot of historical bibles. The museum has an importance for the biblical history.The museum is at the city centre and Simen is very kind and super helpful. He gave us many details about the bibles, their history and Norway.

Interessant museum med en kunnskapsrik guide! Utstillingen inneholder blant annet nordiske Bibler fra ulike tidsepoker og mye informasjon om Bibeloversettelse og utbredelse i de nordiske landene. Å besøke museet anbefales på det varmeste!

A very interesting place. You can learn many interesting things about this amazing book. They also have some interesting gems that I didn't even know existed. I recommend a guided tour (also available in Polish)
