TEKS – Trondheim Elektroniske Kunstsenter – er en ressurs- og kompetanseplattform for kunst og teknologi opprettet i 2002.TEKS ønsker å belyse grenselandet mellom forskning, kunstpraksis og samfunnsutvikling, og skal tilrettelegge for produksjon og formidling av kunstneriske uttrykk som gjør bruk av, og/eller problemstiller nye teknologier og nye vitenskapelige innsikter.TEKS arrangerer Trondheim biennale for kunst og teknologi – Meta.Morf. Kunstnerisk og vitenskapelig forskning utfordrer kontinuerlig våre perspektiver på livet og bringer ofte med seg nye filosofiske og eksistensielle spørsmål. Meta.Morf skal for et bredt publikum formidle kunstnerisk praksis som reflekterer og problemstiller denne utviklingen.TEKS mottar driftsmidler fra Norsk kulturråd og Trondheim kommune.------------EnglishTEKS – Trondheim Electronic Arts Centre – is a non-profit organisation founded in Trondheim in 2002. The organisation is a resource and competence centre that aims to produce and convey techno related art projects within all art disciplines.TEKS is the founder and organiser of the Trondheim biennale for art & technology – Meta.Morf.TEKS initiates and organises artistic productions and projects, works with promotion and education through courses and workshops, and acts as organiser or co-organiser of various techno related cultural initiatives.TEKS is funded by the Arts council Norway and the Trondheim Municipality.

The number one space is the place for viewing exhibits of morally ambigous and challenging post contemporary technologically enhanced psilocyber art, and other forms of technoteric expressions often associated with the fields of artists working with themes concerning how the percieved life of humans, animals and robots in the post-information era points towards problem areas within the neo-anthropocene in relation to post-contextual discourse and error theory. The center is run by the legendary trans computer Espen Gangvik, who often can be found in the venue during exhibition periods, whom you may engage in thrilling conversations about art, tech, life and the potential ultraverses.
