Fikk komme nært på elgene ved fôringen. Fôring foregår to ganger om dagen i høysesong. Gøy å lære fakta om elgen, gi banan og klappe den. I år kunne man ikke gå inn i innhengningen, da den ene elgkua hadde to kalver ,og var derfor veldig beskyttende. Aktiviteter utenom var film om elg, smykkeverksted (elgtenner 100 kr.), stylter, hengekøyer og det var satt frem grill.

It's OKAY, When we arrived nobody was there but after calling the caretaker we can visit the feeding area (it's just back door). I kind of expected something else where you can go inside forest area and spend half a day but in reality its kind of fenced and feels micro zoo and perhaps 15 mins activity + couple of worthy photos. 200 NOK each for that visit is kind of overrated. Visit this place if you are passing by but don't travel/plan just for this!

Really nice place. Awesome guides, answering all our questions and making the visit really productive, fun and interesting.By the way, I thing they are making a really good job taking care of the elks, learning from them, and letting us, normal people, to interact with them in a non oppressive" environment for them.Totally recommended!"

Lyst å hilse på skogens konge? Her er plassen! Kjekt med nærgående elg. Ungene syntes det var helt topp!

Flott, men kanskje litt lite. De har fått inn mange aktiviteter på liten plass.

Top place this is, got it all. Elks, ducks, everything. Informative and fun, and I got to feed an elk. Like they are huge, not being funny. They're almost like a horse and a cow put together with a reindeer, almost looking too tall to be real. They prance around on four legs almost looking down on you, but yet they let you feed it. A humble creature, and that's why I love Elks and therefore by extension Elgtun.I've also provided some photos of this excellent place. Got ducks as well as elks.

Fantastisk sted for store og små!!! Utrolig gøy å komme så tett inn på elgene og kunne klappe dem. De har dådyr der også.Koselig kafé og suvenirbutikk har de også.
