My father and I rented a Cabin Camper from Arctic Campers for 1 week to travel Oslo - Bergen - Geiranger - Oslo.Mike picked us up at the airport and our trip could start! We really enjoyed our camper, it had everything we needed: 2-flame-gas stove, kitchen sink, USB ports, bedding and a large bed a.o.Also, the customer service of Arctic Campers was very good. Mike responded really fast to all of our questions. We hope to go to Trømso one day and then we will definately rent an Arctic Camper again!

We rented VW Crafter for 8 days in the middle of June. Travelling in a camper van in Norway has been a dream for me and my wife for quite some time and it has finally happened! We were also not just 2 of us but with our 1.5 years old daughter. We got plenty of great advices while we were driven from our hotel to the camper parking, nice child car seat and 3 branded cups as a present. We really want to thank the staff for everything. Even though in an adventure like this not everything goes according to the plan, they assisted and helped when we needed it.First example was the problem that we got with the smell coming from the grey water tank after 3-4 days of travelling. We got advice from the staff to buy some tube cleaner and that solved the problem.Second example is the handling of the incident that we had with a bus while turning on one of the narrow roads in Geiranger. Our van got a scratch from the bus rear view window. We were really upset of course but at the end it didn't turn out to be a big issue as the paint was not damaged and the impact on the car itself was minimal. Again, staff was calm and friendly when I reported the issue. They handled all the paperwork and returned the majority of the deposit pretty quickly. Thanks again!

Can’t say thank you enough to Arctic Campers, and especially to Nelson. Our experience renting a camper van for 7 days was amazing. The van was clean, organized, comfortable, and reliable. And all communication with Nelson was delightful. You’re the best, Nelson.

We rented the Volkswagen Transporter for 6 days to discover the south of Norway. For us, is was the perfect way to travel trough the country and enjoy the amazing nature. The van was everything we needed (good bed, easy to transform it to a dining table when the weather was bad, a smart and portable kitchen and a lot of nice equipment). There was also no limit on kilometres, which is perfect if you want to cross the country. Thank you Artic Campers for giving us the opportunity to discover Norway with the van!

Arctic Campers Olso had a good website and was fast responding to queries. Unfortunately, our actual rental fell short of expectation on a number of occasions and I think three critical aspects need working on - service commitment, reliability and workflow. We were given a new Rimor Kiliq 5 RV for pick up at 10am but the rep was still patching up the vehicle as we took over and more issues arose along the way. Right before the handover, the rep broke the RV service key and couldn't find the spare. This meant that accessing the cabin door, gas, main storage, battery and water, toilet compartments became an issue (convenience or security). I cannot stress how inconvenient this ended up being throughout the 14 days trip. After making us wait for several hours, they reluctantly decided to drill out the locks for the gas compartment as a makeshift solution so they could send us on our way. The water inlet and toilet compartment were left unlocked. The cabin door had to be locked from the inside before exiting from the front and ended up being a major frustration. We were also unable to access the main storage compartment from the outside, limiting its utility. While it can be assessed from the inside, it was not practical. To illustrate, they were unable to remove their stored items from the storage compartment which they don't know why was there in the first place. Exacerbating the problem, their stuff also took up a lot of space so overall, you can imagine how useless this storage compartment was.We ended up leaving after 7 hours of delay with a troubled vehicle and was refunded for that day. They also forgot to pick us up at the airport and eventually failed to drop us off as stated in their service commitment. (Btw, one way to the airport was about 470NOK)More disruption occurred when the RV's control panel for electricity and water services (tap, shower & toilet flush) failed on day 3. The solution was to access the battery compartment to reset the system. Since there was no service key, this meant we had to stay at a campsite for essential services until a mechanic drill out the battery compartment locks to reset the system. Of note, they gave up looking for a garage at one point and we had to seek our own help at random garages. They finally got someone at the end of day 6. This disrupted first half of our plans and added unnecessary costs. Some details were missed during the orientation and we had to figure out things on our own. The process also didn't feel systematic as shown by the patchworks done while orientating the RV. The rep also had to go back and forth with the backend crew to confirm or add things. This can be avoided if they have an established workflow and some renter's guide.Amongst the issues that came up along the way, these two may be important for you. This RV did not have isofix for child seats so there were several occasions that the outer child seat almost slide off when the vehicle make the turns. The dinette table also came off during the turns and doesn't sit well in the grooves when folded down to make the bed. We had to improvise so it doesn't keep falling off, collapsing the bed.We paid a premium for a RV but didn't get it's worth. Issues were expected along the way, but it was how the company managed it that disappointed us. Lots of verbal assurances that don't translate to credible actions, telling of how much they value their renters.Overall, we think the branding was good but felt they lacked the service commitment. It’s all business for them and we are just one of the many customers they had. They were also not exactly dependable when trouble arose and the experience taking over the vehicle left much to be desired. The RV was a critical part of the road trip. We did our best to keep our spirits high and tried to catch up with the significant lost time detouring and skipping major spots on our itinerary. No one should need to stress over these issues of the company was well ran.We would hesitate to rent a RV from this outlet until significant improvements were made.

My girlfriend and I had an incredible time traveling from Oslo to Bergen and back through the Fjords. Norway is a spectacular place to travel with a campervan, and the camper itself was great! Mike was a great, down-to-earth guy - picking us up from the airport out of ours, and later dropping us off to the train station. We take only good memories from this trip (well, and a parking fine...)

We had a marvellous 2-week experience discovering South Norway in a Comfort Camper Automatic. The new Camper offered all the amenities needed for an early-Fall road trip and added comfort that will keep you warm, snuggly, connected & entertained even in more winter-like weather. On top of that great complimentary services and genuinely nice crew at Arctic Campers! Way more value than price commanded! Highly recommended. Thanks Arctic Campers!
