We met David, the artist himself of The DMG Gallery when we dropped in to browse at the art displays and to look for unique hand drawn fridge magnet. It was such a great pleasure to meet David as he was really warm and friendly. He engaged us in some really good conversation of his art and what some of the themes and messages of his art.The gallery is filled with lots of good vibes, paintings and great stories behind the drawings. I enjoyed talking about some of the art pieces with David. I especially enjoyed the message of love and community and how each one of us is unique in his paintings.Thanks David for such a super and memorable time visiting your gallery. I hope many more will come into the doors of your gallery and find one or two art pieces in their living rooms. A really nice Gallery, with an art style which is equally as intriguing as it is beautiful.Possibly even more memorable than just the paintings and the Gallery was the artist marking them! It was such a nice conversation and I would have loved to stay even longer and talk about art and the world. After 2 months of travelling through Europe this place and this encounter was still one of the most pleasant surprises one could have stumbled upon, and I would highly recommend anyone to just have a look if the opportunity arises!

Drøbaks mest spennende utstilling?

The gallery is a very warm, inspiring place. I ran into it randomly and stayed for quite a while having a lovely, genuine conversation with the artist. David told me about what he connects with his art and about his personal journey as an artist. Hearing him say that now he was exactly where he wanted to be and that he was truly enjoying his work really warmed my heart.Also, I got to pet his sweet dog Ella, which was very wholesome. Thanks for this lovely encounter, I took home a beautiful artwork and lots of warmth from the visit at the gallery! Tusen Takk!

David is a great artist and an awesome host who welcomed us personally to his gallery and showed us his art. In his paintings you can appreciate his sensitivity and well taste in reflecting Bergen's architecture and its people.Thank you for having us, David!!! Definitely a hidden gem of Bergen and the best gallery in the city! Amazing selection of unique artwork created by the owner. The owner is very kind and friendly and great to talk to. Would recommend to anyone visiting :)
