Nærøyfjorden Verdsarvpark

Amazingly beautiful. We visited the fjord in August and it was still cold. The boat ride was once-in-a-lifetime experience. You can get inside the cabin if cold, but we chose to stay upfront and enjoyed the view. The boat stopped a few small ports to drop people off. When the boat was approaching the port, the staff blocked off the back area of the boat to let people got off the boat. If you need to get out, come out. Do not wait or hang around taking pictures. If you miss the drop off, the boat does not return. You will have to find your own way back to the hotel.

De schoonheid van de natuur is overweldigend, het is wel heel koud en het regent vaak. Producten zijn erg duur. Voor ons was dit uitzicht het allemaal waard

If you have the chance to visit then don't hesitate. The scenery is wonderful, thawing snow made the waterfalls spectacular.

Great hike with amazing views and difficult, technical parts (20-07-2023).I hiked from Fyre to Flåm, staying the night at the DNT hut called Grindsflethytta. The first part (3 hours) is easy, with paths through the forest you the mountain, not very steep. After that there are a lot of technical difficult parts, with many stones/rocks on the path and a steep climb to the top. This was though, although we are experiences hikers. Warm clothing and hiking sticks were necessary.During the whole hike- there was a lot of wind and rain, and temperature difference (from 20°C at the bottom to 4°C at the top).- There are a lot of streams/small rivers to cross. This can be challengingSo make sure to wear good foot ware, water resistant and warm clothing.- The signs on the road are very good. You can soit the red T on many points. Only near the top you have to watch carefully where the paths goes. The hike took us around 8 hours (7 hours netto without breaks).The DNT hut is super nice. Spacious and possibility to make a fire. Reindeer live in the area but we didn't see any.The hike from the DNT hut to Flåm is also though, difficult and beautiful. Big part of the hike is high, around 1200m and it was very misty. Next there is a very technical parts with only rocks. There was a steep bit of snow we had to cross which was difficult. In the end the hikes goes through wet areas and a forest, with a beautiful view on the fjord and a multiple waterfalls.Overall, it's a technical hike. But with amazing views and various landscapes
