Great way to experience Norway!It was absolutely fantastic idea to rent a volkswagen caddy from Nordic Campers.Very helpful and lovely staff. Easy and flexible pickup and drop off.The camper was clean and set up perfectly. Travelling Norway by camper was incredible adventure, allowing us to see this beautiful country on our own schedule, with the benefit of being able to stop for the night almost anywhere we choose. This vacation was one of the best.We are planning to visit the north Norway next time and will be using Nordic Campers for sure.Overall, this experience was great.Highly recommend!

We rented a mini camper van at the end of May to almost mid June 2018. Very happy with the car and the service. Our flight was delayed so we arrived in Oslo more than two hours late. We reached the Nordic Campers Norway team by phone, explained the situation. No problem for them. We delayed our arrival 2 times. Still not a problem. Adrian was very easy going and helpfull when we finally arrived in Asker Station. The drop off was also very easy. We had a wonderful experience in Norway. Even if renting a mini camper van seems to be a bit expensive, we got the freedom of driving at any time of the day or even late at night, no schedule, plus we got the chance to find beautiful places for an overnight into the wild. We did the same in Iceland and we feel that it's the perfect way to experience and enjoy nature and freedom at its best. We highly recommend Nordic Campers in Norway.

Best decision we made to explore Norway. As simple as riding a car but with everything you need to feel home during trip. We could simply pick-up at trainstation away from airport at nd drop it back to fly back home. Aslo appreciate the communication and support right from booking process.

We chose Nordic Campers and loved our adventure in Norway. The pickup and drop off were very smooth, Kiddi gave us a nice tour and useful tips. The car was a Volkswagen Caddy, manual transmission, Diesel engine, very well maintained. We didn’t have any problem with it whatsoever.In August we didn’t need the heating system at night, we had sleeping bags and felt very warm and comfortable inside. The fridge works also well enough plugged in the 12 volt car socket (functional only when the engine is on) so we didn’t need to connect the car to electricity at night. We choose however to camp at camping sites for the comfort of having toilets, showers and kitchen. The cooking equipment gets the job done, one gas canister was more than enough for about 10 meals.I recommend renting the foldable chairs (they don’t take much space) and bringing a windshield phone holder to use your phone for GPS navigation.We highly recommend Nordic Campers to anyone looking for a campervan to explore this wonderful country!They seem to have changed location and are now in Eidsvoll Verk, quite close to the Oslo main airport.

We rented a car for our 8 days trip in Norway with Nordic Campers and we couldn’t be happier for having made that choice!!Everything went beyond expectations:)-The communication - fast, friendly, professional, informative and simply great!-The car - comfortable, with all basic (and more) equipment, clean, efficient. Perfect for a couple or two people.-The value - more than fair. Norway is not cheap and not only with Nordic Campers we made it affordable, but also unforgettable! For us it’s been a pleasure and we can’t wait for the next time!We thank you for everything and highly recommend other travelers who want to enjoy Norway’s nature to the fullest, to rent a car with Nordic Campers!

I went to spontaneous to norway. With Nordic Campers it was an amazing trip. I was flexible and prepared for everything. With the camping equipment, the bed, included WLAN, a cooling box, a heater and enough room to take everything with me I felt safe the whole trip through south Norway. Try it out! I promise: You will be happy while camping in the wild or at campsites.

I had some trouble with my first rental, but as soon as I returned the car to the shop, Marcin was so incredibly helpful and professional. He got me a new car and immediately. I was also impressed with how easy it was to return the car and quickly I got to the airport. Thank you City Car Rental for a great experience!

If you enjoy seeking adventure and wonderful landscapes, this is your choice. No planning needed.I rented a retro mini camper with a friend on easter holydays and we definitely recomend it!!!On easter there is still a lot of snow on the mountains and we weren't able to do the Trolltunga hiking, but we did the Preikestolen Rock route and other hiking trails. AMAZING. Fjords and frozen lakes, plenty of them. Coming from Spain that was magic for us.Regarding the price: at first glance we also thought it was expensive but after living there for eleven days we undestood that it is on the Norwegian standards, even maybe cheaper that using public transport and staying at AirBNB's. Everything is damm expensive up there.Having a van makes the trip surprising and unexpected. You can stop wherever you want and explore the area, out of the traditional hiking routes and adventuring into the wild.Finally, the van. Ours it was an almost new diesel volkswagen, that gave us no problem on the road, easy driving eventhough none of us had never driven a van before. The good: It is properly equiped to survive (do not expect any luxuries). The bad: The gas stove is not spectacularly great and combined with the low temperatures sometimes it took us more than an hour to boil water to cook. No shower and no toilet, but that was part of the adventure (Sleep in a camping site if you need a proper shower)Avoid cities. Pray for a good weather. Enjoy the nature.

Booking the Retro-Caddy with Nordic Campers was definitely the best decision, we could have done. We drove 1.700km in 6 days and explored so much of southern and middle Norway.The nature in Norway is very diverse and simply stunning and with the Campervan you can enjoy it to the fullest!The camper itself was in great shape and perfectly equiped for us. It has quiet a lot of space for storage, had several plugs and it's easly to connect it to powersockets at parking lots or camping areas.If you plan on parking in nature (parking small spaces or side roads) we recommend to get a power invertert to charge all kind of batteries while driving.Rainer, who welcomed us at the office, was awesome and answered all of our (many) questions so we were well prepared for the trip.With an downloaded map of the area, driving in Norway is easy, safe and a lot of fun.Again: thanks a lot, Nordic Campers!

Has a great week in one of Nordic Campers stylish and surprisingly comfortable vans!Have rarely slept better when in the mountains. The van was clean, comfortable to drive and super economical.My dealings with Hilmar and his team were easy, relaxed and professional.I will certainly be making Nordic Campers my go to when off into the mountains again!
