Korshamn

Väldigt fin liten gratis hamn med både el och vatten . Mycket vacker natur här helt underbart (bra fiske)

Litet fiskeläge med boende i lägenhetshotell, möjlighet att hyra kajak, motorbåt eller åka på sightseeing med guide i båt. Marina med gästhamn och butik finns. Nära Lindesnes fyr, allra längst söderut i Norge.

Det er ingen åpen overnatting her, kun rorbuer som må bestilles. Jeg var ikke på rorbuene

A small city by the sea with spectacular view. Part of the city is for pedestrians only via the narrow path behind the Nærbutikken and Pub. The path is recommended for 30-40 min easy walk - there is the smallest library in Norway, small handmade shop, art gallery. The houses are very nicely decorated in a fisherman style. The place is very good for photo session. Nærbutikk and Pub have very good opening hours in summer time and you do my grocery shopping in other seasons very often - they have all the basics and much more, plus some extra for fishing and even medicine. There are sitting places outside, so you can relax there with a beautiful sea view. Many boats stop in Korshamn for petrol and grocery shopping, rest and overnight in guest marine. There are a boat rental and accommodation facilities also. Korshamn Rorbuer has a competition for biggest fish catch every summer(a scale is outside a reception). They also offers fish processing facilities(you responsible to clean a leftover) and a fish smoker. The part of the city is on a small island and accessible only with boat. A small channel in between looked amazing in a dark in Halloween eve with a families with old style oil lamps and costumes coming across it with boats for trick or treat. I didn't find a good place for open water swimming there as there are too many boats around. But there are lots of small island around with small sandy beaches which are nice for all family bathing, light houses and beautiful walks. The city hosts Tequilarock festival at the end of July. Hausvik fort is nearby - sale, drive or walk there. Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet swimming pool is about 15km away, and there is a big shopping center there - Rom.

Boot fahren ist hier ja ok. Aber es fehlt eine schöne Bademöglichkeit. So zwischen den Booten ins Wasser steigen ist nicht so toll. Kinder können im Wald und auf Steinen spielen. Ansonsten gibt es für sie nichts hier.

Sehr schön hier, endlich mal entspannen.Ich war schon 15 Mal hier und würde immer wieder kommen :)
