Fantastisk

First of all: The cabin is picture-perfect, in every meaning of the word! Our breath was taken away by the beautiful architecture and smart solutions. We were four people and it still felt spacious. The location is private, the view is amazing. Especially if you’re one of the lucky people who get to fall sleep in the loft. It’s quite an experience falling asleep to the trees cradle you, looking through the windows in the ceiling. We also took a bath in the river, the cabin is just a few minutes away from a great bathing place. Close to Hardangervidda is also a plus, for those of us who enjoy hiking in the mountains. Isaac is an extraordinary host, always smiling and helpful. His knowledge about the area is worth listening to, and he gives amazing hiking tips. We’re definitly coming back with more friends to Tessungdalen and Å Auge.

Idyllisk plass!

It was our last place after two weeks of Norway and it was perfect for relaxing. The view from the cabin is super nice and the ambient noise of the river is calming. I also enjoyed making fires and going in the sauna combined with a quick dip in the river. There are some nice hikes nearby.

Fint sted med unike overnattingsmuligheter. Fint turområde og fin natur. Deilig å sove til bruset av elva.

Wir hatten Urlaub im traumhaft schönen Baumhaus. Mitten in der Natur hat man die Möglichkeit wirklich zu Entschleunigen. An das autake Leben musste man sich zwar erst gewöhnen: Ohne Strom und ohne fließend Wasser (außer vom Fluss) war eine Herausforderung aber auch ein tolles Experiment. Der Host war sehr freundlich und stand uns bei Fragen immer zur Seite. Die Häuser sind mit sehr viel Liebe und Leidenschaft gebaut und Eingerichtet. Im Fluss konnten wir einige Bachforellen angeln. Im Wald rundgerun gibt es einige schöne Wanderruten und unzählige Blaubeeren zu finden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
