Flørli 4444 - hike the World's Longest Wooden Stairs | The village Flørli in the Lysefjord is only accessible on foot or by ferry. It is a popular tourist destination for its stairway with 4444 steps up the mountain along a hydropower watergate. The historic hydropower plant can be visited and you will love the idyllic fjord setting of it all.

Interesting exhibition inside the power station that tells the story about the people, the building and operations from the early years in 1918. The old generator are still there, and also photos, text and articles.
