This was an excellent destination for my ongoing midlife crisis. Haven't been near a kayak for 25 years and the staff were brilliant at supporting me. The baby raft thingys look awesome and would suit someone who might be a little nervous. The sauna and hottub in the forest was amazing.

Fantastisk kul opplevelse å få prøve meg på elvekajakk med Mad Goats. Har vært på ræfting en del ganger, men det å sitte i en kajakk hvor du selv må styre alt er en heelt vill følse må jeg si. Fantastisk opplevelse og sinnsykt dyktige instruktører.

I had great paddle time on the Sjoa play run on high water in my current raft packraft with Thomas.Nice to have a kajak guiding company in Sjoa with a great team that know what they are doing en what you can do depending on your skills.The Sjoa is a great paddling river and with mad goats i could enjoy it with my pack raft in a safe and professional way.The nice and chill base camp is a pleasure to stay.Keep on the good work and keep improving.

Me and my friends had a great experience here! Super friendly and skilled staff who adapted our experience to our wishes. I don’t think we could’ve had a more memorable experience of the Norwegian rivers!

Highly recommended! Lovely people and place. Extremely accommodating and made us feel welcome to hang out at their basecamp in the sauna after a really cool introduction to wild water kayaking. They have several locations they can take you to depending on your level but always ensure you're safe with them and you can try some maneuvers and practice rescue skills. Wild water kayaking is tons of fun and we felt we were in very capable hands at Mad Goats Sjoa, thanks guys!

Best spot in sjoa for kayak courses! The staff are professional and accommodating, making you feel safe and confident on the water.Their home base is amazing with accommodation if needed and even a forest sauna! Definitely check this place out!

Did my river Grunnkors there last year with Madgoats. And completed my 1st grade 3 as well the end of August.Had an absolute blast and Tomas was an awesome instructor.I’ll be back up there this year, just bought new equipment to make sure I spend more time kayaking.Love Sjoa so much.

The hospitality, the vibe and the facilities at Mad Goats Sjoa is incredible! It's got that wonderful, chill we're all in this together" vibe that's great for these sorts of trips. Their sauna is top notch
