Lingu Stavanger

Lingu online courses are very suitable and efficient to study Norwegian language and social studies (SK50) courses, especially for those who are working during day time, travel a lot and live in remote area. I strongly recommend Lingu for skilled migrants who are looking for permanent residence (PR) permit.

I was at Lingu to prepare me for the university to study Norwegian in Germany. At the same time I worked here as an Au-Pair in a Norwegian-American family. The courses from Lingu were perfect for me, it was flexible and I could decide when I wanna have a course. There were no pressure or something else :)I really liked to go to the in-house classes but also to the online classes. In the in-house classes we had more grammar and did tasks with other mates. And in the online classes we talked more and had many discussions about different topics, so we talked AND wrote. It was a nice variety!Also made I new friends at the course, that was pretty helpful, cause I was new in Stavanger.I can just recommend Lingu, when you have a job or a flexible schedule :)Also did you had access to lots of learning tasks!And I must say, that I loved that I can pause the membership for a period of time, cause I was in holiday.I really trying to find a negative aspect, but I cannot find one.So I'm very happy that I chose the A2 and B1 course at Lingu and you will like it too!Oh and with just these courses I took the norskprøve 3 (B1/B2) :)

Before COVID hit, got the in house classes and had a great experience, Saira in particular was amazing, love her methods and tips to get you understanding the language :) now online and have to say it is great that they make it so easy on flexibility. But you need to be commited to wanting to learn as it is YOU in control in this course! Lyke til :)

Please before you go and sign up for Lingu in Stavanger read this! And keep in mind with what kind of a aschool and people you are dealing with! I signed up for private class to learn Norwegian and paid in cash 14,000 nok. I had only one private lesson with my teacher and I got sick. Been on sick leave for a few months. And I let the teacher and school know about it that I am sick and on sick leave and can not attend to the class, will be back soon. Went back to school to continue my class, they told me it's over and done. You can not have your private class. Asked for my money, and they said you can not have it! Went there a few times and no body could give me any right answer. Until the manager was hiding in the office and was sending teachers to tell me go away, she is busy and can not see you. It happened twice! That she even didn't come out to talk to me! So many emails back and forth and I got no class and no money! Never again sign up with Lingu! They are the worst ever! Such a rud people and very unfair.

I have taken 2 courses with Lingu, Norwegian language lessons and social studies. I think their material was great, I really enjoyed learning at my own pace and I'm now able to apply for permanent residence thanks to that. It would have been much harder with a traditional course, as I have a very busy schedule (like most people :)). I also found out that attending virtual classes made it much easier for me to participate and speak in Norwegian, in regular classes I'd be too conscious of my classmates, but here no one could see me :).I also found the support to be top-notch. Odd and his team are just super responsive and nice. They are also open to suggestions and are continuously improving the site and course. I cannot recommend Lingu more to everyone, give it a try!

I believe Lingu has a great system for teaching foreigners the Norwegian language. Is not only the system which works pretty well for their online classes and time recording, but also the quality of their teachers and the content they share. I really appreciate their efforts into making this an easy thing to do and suitable to anyone's time.

Very well organised, helpful and knowledgeable way for studying Norwegian language. fast response to questions and all inclusive package to learn the language. I tried the online classes with interactive virtual classrooms plus well organised lessons and homework and i rate it as the best choice i ever made for language learning technique.

I have very nice experience with Lingu. Last year they organized Free introduction course in Norwegian, and I was chosen to attend it. The teacher (Agnes) was really great, tried to give us as much as possible useful information for a such short time. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to continue with that type of course, in real classroom, so I've continued with their Online course. That type of course contains self-study part, and virtual classrooms. You are able to attend virtual classes with nice teachers (Pia is my #1) full of patience for us beginners. Classes hours are different, cover whole week, so you can pick whatever suits you. There is also Free Webinars on Thursdays, so you can try their online courses, and decide if that's your 'cup of tea'. Highly recommended.

I did the 4 months online course and really enjoyed every lecture. Therefore, I can fully recommend Lingu!
