I've flown in a few times and really liked this little airport even though the arrivals immigration hall is so small that half the passengers have to queue outside when it's -20c (I remembered my coat the second time). Very sad that it's closing - I won't be skiing in the area again as the journey from Oslo makes the traveling too protracted.

Flew into this airport with Crystal Ski. Quite small so if you are on a big plane expect to queue outside before going through immigration. Loved the honesty box in the airport lounge on return trip.

I am interested in doing tours in this area and trying to find out which airlines fly here?I have checked Google flights, Widerøe, and now believe it will only be occasional charter flights? - but more information on how to book flights, or schedules to fly in and out of this airport should be updated online..if it is closed until further notice-perhaps say so on the website?Thanks and I wish this business every success, as this would be helpful for the local economy of Valdres

Without doubt one of the quietest airports I have visited. It might have survived if the railway had been kept open as an attraction.

Een prachtige plek boven op de berg alleen was het helemaal verlaten waarschijnlijk staat het al een poosje leeg we hebben wel van het uitzicht kunnen genieten bij het uitzichtpunt een stukje verder naar boven. Maar eigenlijk hadden we gehoopt dat we wat vliegtuigen op konden zien stijgen en landen

The airport is located on a mountain! I think this is amazing! It's interesting for the visitors and probably for the pilots tho.

Er det mulig å bruke flyplassen hvis man skal ta privat jetfly? Skulle bestille det, men så sto det at jeg kunne fly fra Leirin-Malaga... Men det er nok feil hvis flyplassen er lagt ned?
