Wonderful! On Bergens main attraction, Bryggen, this great art gallery offers Art with a capital A as well as Music with a capital M. We had a very nice talk with owner Kristian Gaahl" Espedal. Such a nice guy! A must for art lovers and anyone involved in bands such as Wardruna

Worth to visit small gallerie in beautiful old dock in Bergen. Owned by Gaahl from Gorgoroth, Godseed and Trelldom. There is some black metal shirts and vinyls for sale and plenty of impressive art (orginal and prints) from Espedal and other artist. Check it out!

I didn't even know about this place until a YouTuber friend shared a video on it so we had to pay a visit while we were in Bergen! I was so anxious Gaahl wouldn't be there but it's only when he's on tour the shop closes.Gaahl is a really nice, genuine guy although I feel he was more scared of me but I was kinda fangirling over him! His partner, Robin is also a lovely guy and I found him a lot easier to talk to!I did him some gift art seeing as he's an artist so thought he'd appreciate it, which he did and said he'd put it somewhere in the shop!I didn't even know he does his own coffee collaboration with a Norwegian coffee brand called Solberg & Hansen so I bought a bag and got him to sign it (I think he tried to politely say his art was very expensive when I asked about signing something! ) I also bought a shirt by another Norwegian coffee brand called Darkhan, a Gaahl's Wyrd patch and Taake Henholdsvis vinyl single as he sold a few other cool Black Metal merch there if you're not ready to spend hundreds on his art.

Ich hatte vor unserem Besuch die Sorge, dass die Galerie eventuell nicht geöffnet haben könnte, da sie am vorherigen Wochenende auch Samstag und Sonntag geöffnet hatte.Deshalb hatte ich zuvor via Facebook Kontakt aufgenommen. Alle Fragen wurden sehr freundlich geklärt und Herr Espedal hatte die Galerie (trotz Verletzung) extra früher geöffnet und war während unseres Besuchs für sämtliche Fragen verfügbar.Die Räume sind randvoll mit faszinierenden Kunstwerken. An den Wänden, in Vitrinen, in Mappen. Man kann kaum alles verarbeiten, so eindrucksvoll ist alles.Natürlich findet man auch ausgefallenes Merch. Sei es von der Galerie selbst, von Ghaal's Projekten oder anderen Raritäten von anderen Bands und Künstlern.Ein bemerkenswerter Mensch, der einen faszinierenden Einblick in sein Schaffen gewährt. Und das an einem der schönsten Ecken der Welt.100% zu empfehlen!

Great artwork and an awesome selection of merch. Gaahl was really friendly and helpful as well, would definitely recommend to art and black metal enthusiasts
