Veldig bra Restaurant

Utrolig god mat og hyggelig betjening!

Pusser opp og nytt navn. Heter nå House of Africa. Beste injerra I Oslo

Det skal så lite til for å gjøre dette stedet bedre. Hyggelig betjening, men vanskelig å kommunisere. Veldig dårlig vinutvalg. Vi bestilte mat til syv personer, men det kom for lite mat. Ingen tallerkener for oss som skulle dele. Tok lang tid før mat og drikke kom på bordet selv om det var få gjester. Røft er kult, men det er ikke spesielt koselig her. Gatekjøkken, kro, ikke restaurantfølelse. Kommer ikke til å dra dit igjen selv om maten var god.

Nydelig mat, hyggelig service i fine lokaler. Anbefales!!!

We went to House of Africa a week ago, although there were not many reviews on google. The place needs renovation, and service was really slow: from the time we entered the restaurant until we received our order, one hour had passed! Nevertheless, the food was really special and delicious. We didn't know what we ate, but it was good and spicy! Also, it was our first time when we ate using hands. It felt strange in the beginning, but we got used to and enjoyed it. We were the only Europeans there, so definitely this is an authentic place. At the end of our visit an owner (probably) gave us some attention by talking to us at our table. The experience in general was pretty nice and we wish best of luck to this place and to people that work here.

Fantastisk god Injera

I went to this little cute restaurant twice and the food was both times exceptionally tasty. I ordered their vegan traditional meal and I have to say that the contrast of flavours, the chilly and different curry makes a really good combination. Everything accompanied by their soft and flat kind of sourdough bread, which is very good as well. The restaurant is a traditional, little place with soft lights and kind of a romantic touch, good for a date as well as family meal or friends hang out.
