Engø Gård Hotel & Restaurant

We had day-spa and lunch. It kinda feels like a hidden gem. The atmosphere of the place is wonderfull. We had a Cesar salad with chicken witch was excellent.

I wasn't a guest at the hotel, I simply had lunch there a few times. Here's what I ate and my opinion on each dish:Engø Burger: the burger itself was truly amazing. Perfectly cooked, nice grill-like flavor. Amazing toppings. The fries on the other hand were strange. They had a seemingly artificial taste of citric acid. They should have just left them plain without overseasoning them with peculiar flavors.Lobster roll: also a great concept of a sandwich. It was tasty. However, there are two things I noticed. First of all, there was just much sauce / dressing in the sandwich. It was difficult to actually discern the flavor of the lobster due to the excess sauce. Secondly, I noticed that lobster wasn't the only seafood used in the sandwich. Rather, it was just an addition to what seemed to be shrimps. That shouldn't happen. The menu didn't state that it was a lobster/shrimp sandwich, it was supposed to be a lobster sandwich, exclusively. I understand that lobster is more expensive than shrimp, but that doesn't mean you can trick people into thinking they are eating something they are not, especially since the sandwich was quite small in size.Burrata: the burrata was good. But that's about it. I could have done the same thing: buy some burrata, add some tomatoes and voilà. That's why I don't see why it was priced at over 200 kr.The reason I am giving this place 4 stars (as opposed to 3) is because the burger was excellent.

En fantastisk beliggenhet. Upåklagelig rom og service. Anbefales på generell basis, men Engø Gård er en fantastisk venue for bryllups feiring.

Vi dro på lunch. Hyggelig service, flott beliggenhet, og nydelig mat.

Flott og rolig sted med en avslappende atmosfære. Fint område med tilgang til sjøen. Innendørs basseng. Riktig med luksus på rommet. Unike rom i ulike bygg. Maten er fine dining med gode smaker servert delikat.

Var der idag på afternoon tea idag. Masse deilig smaker på de forskjellige tingene som ble servert. Variert utvalg i tetyper og koselig stemning i lokalet.

Et meget flott hotell bestående av flere bygninger. Nærhet til sjøen gir mulighet for bading i sjø i tillegg til svømmebasseng. Flotte rom. Meget hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Savnet et rekkverk når man skal ned i bassenget.

Nydelig sted med rolig fin atmosfære. Middagen var nydelig. Badehuset var en rekreasjonsperle.Gikk en fin tur i området på en vakker plass.

Nydelig sted, litt smal men god dobbelseng. Koselig resturant og frokost, men maten klarte ikke helt å imponere like mye som beliggenhet og miljø.
