Very unfriendly and incompetent staff!

A cool experience, sleeping in a tube. You have the essentials: electricity and heating. The bathroom is quite a steep little hike away. The area surrounding is beautiful, and the restaurant is lovely. Would recommend.

My kids and I slept in Hikers Nest at Preikestolen Base Camp this summer. Super charming camp surrounded by beautiful nature and Refsvannet next door. Bonfire and BBQ, Sup, Sauna and lot's of fun water activities. Beautiful hiking spots including the famous Pulpit Rock and wonderful place to chill. My kids loved it and had so much fun. Breakfast, coffee and juice included. Can highly recommend this camp for a weekend escape.

We arrived there at 13:15. The website clearly stated the check in is from 12 o clock. But actually they mean between 12 and 16. So we had to wait with all our equipment. Staff at the reception was very unfriendly and highly incompetent.Rooms are very simple, not well thought out at all. There is no room to dry your clothes anywhere, the toilets and showers are situated uphill and are not close. The bushes next to the cabins smell of pee. It’s disgusting.The cabins are situated at the base of the Preikestolen hike area. The prime location explains the heavy price tag. For 10% more you get a hotel room. There is also a nice camping a bit down the road.Would not recommend!

Great stay, super comfyAlso has a small heater, usb charger, a chared fridge and freezer for your on food.
