There are two paths that go to the top of Ulriken - stairs and a trail. For experienced hikers I highly recommend trail, though it can be a bit demanding and not properly marked. Stairs can be a bit boring.

the stairs are steep but in good weather it's easy, a lot of places to rest for a moment while admiring the landscape. the hardest thing is to climb but in the end the reward is the crazy 360° view

Flott tur

Well maintained stairs leading up to the Ulriken. Takes some stamina but healthy people should be able to take this challenge. Otherwise you could still take the cable car. Rewarding and breathtaking views when you've reached the top.

The surroundings and views are pretty nice, yet let's be honest - that's definitely the most boring and crowded way to get up to Ulriken.

1333 schody do nieba. Krótsza, ale zdecydowanie bardziej wymagająca trasa wiodącą na Ulriken. Ścieżka polecana raczej osobom z dobrą kondycją i mocnymi kolanami. Po drodze na szczyt znajduje się kilka punktów, przy których można usiąść i chwilę odpocząć (jednocześnie podziwiając widok na panoramę okolicy). Schody momentami strome i dosyć śliskie (płynące wzdłuż schodów strumienie tylko pogarszają sytuację), radzę uważać podczas deszczowej pogody w Bergen. No i wysokość ponad 600 m n.p.m. na górze powoduje, że mogą tam panować inne warunki pogodowe niż na dole. Trzeba być przygotowanym na to, że sam szczyt może znajdować się już w chmurach i może leżeć tam np. śnieg, którego w danym momencie próżno szukać na niższych wysokościach.
