Kleiner Parkplatz, ruhig um mit dem WoMo zu übernachten. In ca. 5min kann man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Aurlandsfjord genießen. Super Alternative zum sehr überfüllten Stegastein-Aussichtspunkt.

Buen lugar para aparcar, desde aquí salen rutas de montaña. Pero para una autocaravana es genial para pasar la noche. Caben 10-15 coches/autocaravanas, unas vistas espectaculares, el canto de las aves y el sonido de los riachuelos pasar es una maravilla.Sígueme en IG para ver nuestro viaje por Noruega. @java.traveling

Quite spacious parking lot. The trail starting from here can bring you up to Mount Prest where you can get an even more beautiful view than the one at Stegastein. If the clouds are low I suggest not reaching the top but to stay at the first nice viewpoint

Words are not enough to describe this place. A great family friendly hike (although has some 2000 ft elevation gain so could be difficult, but with sufficient breaks it’s worth it). Sometimes difficult to find the path and I tried as much as possible to not create new path and destroy the vegetation. The view is worth it. It’s windy on the top so make sure you are equipped accordingly. The view of the aurlandsfjord is worth it.

Flott utsikt allerede etter 10 minutter. Kan være trangt å parkere, anbefaler ikke å stå med bobil/campingvogn her, kjør da heller litt lengre opp for bedre plasser

Mt Prest Hike Parking Lot
Another must see/do for anyone staying in Aurlandsvangen or Flam.The hike itself is a good challenge level. The views are awe-inspiring. Nothing has compared to the stunning nature of the fjords of Norway, yet. There is a great sense of accomplishment for making it to the cairn at the top -- a guest book awaits with names of other hikers.Parking was not very easy to spot from the road, but it was rather empty (end of May early June) and free!

Mt Prest Hike Parking Lot
Perfect parking lot to start the hike to Prest. Parking lot is not super big, so this might be a problem in summer. The hike to Prest is 4.8 km, with 575 m elevation. A round trip took us 3 hours (with 2 hours of walking). The path is very steep, and some sections are exposed. The path is marked with red T's. Consider good clothing for hiking and hiking boots. The views are magnificent and worth the hike.
