Europcar Trondheim Airport Vaernes (TRD)

Ryddig firma og rene biler. Eneste som trekker litt ned, er mangelen av informasjon om at de tar 3000 kr i depositum for bilen når man henter den. Ikke noe problem, men hadde vært fint å vite i forkant :-)

Absolute disaster. Rental car booked and paid in advance. Consciously booked only half an hour after landing. When we arrived with our baby no one was there. The landlord has oriented himself to the time of landing and then left after a short wait. They made us wait two hours and charged us a fee for coming back.The booked baby seat was thrown loose in the car because we did not know the model we were forced to install it ourselves. Baby was now completely overtired and screamed.In the tires was apparently too little air so that we then had to fill ourselves.After returning it is now claimed that a cover is missing in the trunk and wants almost 500 euros from us. Fraud? Rip-off? Bad service? I do not know anymore. Never again. Shame !!!!

We booked a car for 2pm on Saturday. At 2:15 p.m., the guy from Europcar left the Office because he had used our flight number as a guide, after which we landed at 1:30 p.m. Although he knew that we were coming with a baby, he closed his shop. He then came back at 4pm after we called him and made it clear to him that we still have to buy groceries because the next day is Sunday and we still have a long way to go to the holiday home. He then charged us his time because he had to come back. How could he close the office? We had prepaid the car for €1000. Zero Service! It felt like blackmail. We were in a foreign country with a baby and needed the car to go to the cottage and buy groceries and because he was too lazy to wait he also wanted money from us. You have no chance in this situation.Update: The nightmare does not end. After our vacation Europcar claims untruthful that We remove a lid which is a Part of the carpet in the trunk. They want over 600 € from us. We did not remove the lid. Maybe this is a Reaction on my comment above or on the arguement We had at the beginning of our vacation. I can't believe what is happening here. Thats fraud.

Awful experience. We got expended a ticket for parking in Bergen and we spoke with them and reassured that everything would be taken care of. They said they would take the money from the deposit and 6 months later they contacted us to pay more as they didn't pay in time and the fine had increased. They do this because this way they can take more money from us. Really disgusting practice.

Disaster. I get a parking fine and I had no option to pay it because I didn't have a Norwegian bank account, neccesary in this case to pay to Bergen's police. So I asked them SEVERAL times and the answer was the same: We can do it for you and will chage you it in the next invoice with the tolls and ferries" (there are a lot in Norway). They didn't charge that amount so we ASKED again and they said: "Don't worry

Very helpful lady on desk and easy pick up / drop off

Bad experience.We were charged with an invoice that wasn't our fault. Moreover they didn't tell us that we have to pay when we asked, and now, months later they want us to pay more because of the delay.

Picked up a car in Trondheim and had a problem with the wipers, they were pushing me to fix it myself, then I requested a change or repair on my way to Ålesund. The agent “arranged “ the wipers change in Ålesund, just to find myself in a closed office, and manager never received the notification.They have extremely bad service, they want you to fix their problems and be aware that not all their locations are corporate so in case of a problem, you might not get all the rights and services, since it depends of each location.

We paid exactly what we expected and when we came to pick up the car outside normal hours, someone was waiting. Only negative was we had ordered car seats and when we got to the car we discovered there were no carseats and the man who gave us the rental had already left so we had to call him back. But other than that it was a smooth pick up and drop off.
