Haslum

Haslum has wooded hills in the north, Bærumsmarka, and large densely populated areas in the south which continue in Oslo. Some industrial and office companies. Haslum Church is a medieval stone church, which was possibly built before 1200 and restored in the 1920s. At the church is Haslum crematorium. Haslumseter chapel is a sports chapel in Bærumsmarka from 1969. Originally the church was built in a long rectangular form, but was rebuilt after one hundred years as a cross churc in order to increase capacity. In 1300 the church had 12 altars for various saints. Figures from those altars can be found in the University of Oslo's ancient collections.
