Beautiful lake. In summer it is very green and with nice activities to do (picnics, walk, play…). In winter it is also a fantastic place because you can do ice skating and enjoy the views to de white mountains

This place is very beautiful and great spots to picnic and swim as well. hiking, cycling and skiing in winters- all season trails and reasons to visit this place.While hiking to this place, you will find a special variety of lichen- old man's beard lichen, this type is extremely sensitive to air and grows only where there is no-pollution.We even spotted a baby elk on the trial.Its very close to city and a pure bliss.Norway is one of the places which tries to protect and appreciate the nature at its best.

Need a little walk uphill (10-20 min) from the parking lot. Nice place for families and BBQ.My second visit was for camping. A little bit cold at night (3-5 degree lower than central), but cozy because there were not many people.

Nice place for a picnic, but this is not wilderness. This is more like a park. It is quite possible to catch fish here. One dam is better than the other. Remember to pay your fish license. You can have coffee at Estenstadhytta nearby on weekends.

Tømmerholtdammen (and it's twin lake of Estenstad) with its path up by the dam wall and mill wheel below is one of the most beautiful and family friendly hiking goals in the outdoor recreation area of Estenstad in Strindamarka on the eastern side of Trondheim.There are multiple designated picnic locations, a diving platform and mobile restrooms available nearby on the trail towards the main road towards Estenstad.

Beautiful nature. Nice place for hiking, hammock, tent. You have to walk around 1.5km from bakken parking
