IKEA Furuset Bistro
IKEA restaurants are cheap and that’s why you eat there - not because of a great culinary experience. This ikea restaurant however is over the top on the cheap side.Staff had no idea what they were serving; we ordered pancakes for the kids and it took a bit of searching before they realized they had it in a tray. Also started asking me how I wanted the food of other customers food served. Almost everything was mislabeled or missing labels. The guy at the register kept crashing the system pressing wrong buttons resulting in a long line and people switching to a different cashier. The food was, despite my already low expectations, not much more than edible.When ikea Bangkok serves better Scandinavian food than Oslo, then you really have a failure on your hands.

Mixed feelings now for the place. The Bistro has always been the saving angel for hungry men and kids going for hours at IKEA. The offer with cheap pork based sausages and soda with a lot of sugar has been excellent! Unhappily they have changed the menu to vegetarian sausages and side with nearly no sugar (tastes terrible)The soft ice is the best. It has a perfect consistency and tastes fantastic.But.1. Reintroduce meat/pork sausages as the cheap alternative.2. Reintroduce real soda water with sugar!
