Hardanger Experience

My sister and I hired Daniel to guide us up to Trolltunga in 2016 and we had an amazing experience. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our European trip. The views on the hike were stunningly beautiful. You won't be disappointed. Climbing out onto the Trolls Toungue got my heart pumping though! Daniel was an excellent guide. He did his job as a guide well, but beyond that he also taught us some interesting local history and explained the legends behind the Trolls Toungue. I've had guides before that don't really say anything and it can be boring and monotonous. He was talkative and answered a ton of questions we had about Norway and it's people. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. It was much appreciated.

If you are looking for something less daring than Trolltunga, this is a nice but challenging hike. You’ll get great views in half the time. Daniel makes it look easier than it really is haha but you’ll have a great time!

Daniel is an outstanding guider.He was very friendly and informative, and he did let us to hike in our own pace. He gives you some great tips for hiking and especially hiking in the snow. His passionate to the nature is impressive!He helped us to get to the Trolltunga cliff itself safely, even tough it was a bit snowy in the way, and he helped us to take great pictures.Highly recommended for everyone who wants the non-touristic version of the guided Trolltunga trail.

Despite a huge wind and snow storm, Daniel kept everyone motivated and happy while leading the way up to Trolltunga, and it was great! Really worth the experience, with a very fun and knowledgeable guide!

Myself and my partner took part in this hike on May 4th 2017, slightly out of season and so in more snowy conditions than usual (although we were very lucky as the sun was shining!).A challenging but incredible experience led by a highly experienced and competent guide. I was not as fit as I should have been but Daniel ensured I was safe and motivated the whole time. It was a magical experience, made especially amazing by the fact my partner proposed to me at Trolltunga.Daniel knew the route well, came prepared with everything we needed and kept us all entertained with his stories of previous hikes. Amazing trip! Contrary other tour operators, we were a small group with 7 people, which made it private and comfortable. Daniel was responsible, nice to talk to, and very patient. This hike was the highlight of our Norway trip and I would definitely recommend it!

We did the Trolltunga tour with guide Daniel on 4th May 2017. With backrounds in different kinds of sports but without any hiking experience it was the estimated strong challange.Before the trip Daniel helped us to organize the trip, for exaple he explained us how to come to the starting point in Odda or near around and sent us a list of things which are important to bring for the trip. So we were well prepared and excited.On the 11,5 hours long tour in a group of seven people from all over the world we always felt well informed, good advised and motivated to go on, especially in difficult parts of the trip.Although it was a really strong and difficult trip for us as hiking beginners we had a lot of fun during the whole trip. We can definitely recommend Hardanger Experience.Thank you very much for this awesome, unforgettable tour.

Amazing hike with endless beautiful sceneries. It is not easy though. But once you started there is no way back. It is definitely worth any pain in legs and tiredness. Stunning views and the proud feeling of achievement on the next day can’t be described in words. Our guide Daniel was awesome. Very intelligent, interesting and friendly person with amazing sense of humor. 100% totally recommended. One in a lifetime experience!
