Nice and practical light rail to travel around in Bergen. Would highly recommend to buy a week pass rather than individual tickets as it is cheaper. The light rail can be pretty full at some weekdays around 15/16 o'clock, but not overly dull. it is way too full though after football (Brann) games, from the stop called Brann Stadion and down to the city center. If it is a match day I would highly recommend to wait about 30/40 minutes after end of the game.The light rail also travels to the airport, but please estimate good time. The light rail takes about 40/45 minutes to airport from the city center vs around 25 with car.

Quick and easy. Gets you from A to Z and is expanding all the time. Don't like that they plan on dragging it across Bryggen though... Not cool Bybanen. Not cool.

I took bybanen" (light rail) from bergen city to the airport. It took around 45 minutes. It cost 38 kroners. The seats are ok."
