Extremely slow, being told to arrive 10min ahead of the orderd 'appoinment'. 40 minutes after the actual appointment should have begun we're being told that there was a mistake, and our place in the queue has been reset and we're given a special ticket. We then have to wait another 30 minutes before actually getting anywhere.Just not what we were expecting from the Police.

Haven't had a lot of experience with other police stations but have had experiences with Skatteetaten, NAV and Vegvesen. Of all the government entities, we've had the least hurdles with the police and we went through this particular police station. Took all our papers, worked with us on what was missing and everything went fairly smoothly. The timeline they gave of 4 months for personal numbers were pretty accurate too.We came back to do passports for the kids and we arrived 15 min late and the machine to check-in said we were too late. This was a bit devastating as the drive here was 30 min. I noticed there weren't really anyone there (we went on Saturday morning) and took a chance and asked one of the available workers if we could still get help. To my surprise he says yes. Everything went smoothly and we're not waiting for passports in the mail. We really appreciate the ease and kindness shown. This is complete opposite with our experiences with NAV and Skatteetaten where we really had to fight for our case to even be accepted for submission.
