My cousin's relatives took us here when we visited. I'm glad they did or we would not have known about it. We walked from the town center, which took around 35 minutes. We walked a portion of the trails but there are plenty of places to walk. I recommend bringing a picnic lunch and spending some time. The informational signs are in Norwegian and English. This is free to visit.

What a beautiful place!Why not Oppdal community council do more PR for Vang I don't know.Walking around here it's a lot like John Bauers fairy tales.

One of the largest viking-age burial grounds found in Norway.Truly a magical place to walk around and 'feel' the history around you.I recomend going early early morning or late evening and you might have the place to yourself.1 to 2 hours to walk around leisurely and read all the information provided.
