What a great information center to learn about cancer and what it means to those affected, not only the patients but also the family. We got a very good guided tour by one of the volunteers. The ground floor is filled with good examples of how cancer affects daily living activities and how some of the challenges can be alleviated. The lower level has a very good science part, explaining how cancer can develop, why it is so difficult to detect and treat, but also how it can be treated and especially a lot of success stories.Next time I will bring the kids.Every country should have a museum like this.

The entrance is free ! You can make some bracelets to help them for funding research and the center at the end. This is a real interactive and educative place about cancer : history, prevention, education. There is no sad stuff, just info.I think it is a good place to visit if you have time in Oslo even if you have children with you

Interesting place, it’s main purpose is to increase cancer treatment awareness. Has some interactive exhibits. Admission is free. It’s not very big so if you have an hour or so to spare it’s worth the stop.
