Disappointing from the beginning. I chose SJ for the design of The London Barber in City Nord based on their Instagram profile and gave them a thorough design brief. I quickly got the impression that the designer was not that engaged. The initial floor plan was idiotic. The initial work area design was equally poor. I felt like I was leading the design process throughout rather than paying for great ideas. Design is a subjective business but throughout the service from SJ was poor. After multiple unfortunate delays (Not SJ’s fault) which held up the completion date, they did not even make contact with me on the final day of renovation, as is in their contract, to assist with finishing touches. They did not see through their obligations with regards to lighting.We all make mistakes, companies included but the unwillingness to acknowledge them is further insult to a painful experience.Gave them 3/5 rather than 1/5 because they introduced a good furniture maker (3Toppen), chose some nice light fixtures and had good control of the electrical and plumbing plan.Sean
