My husband and I recently came back from a trip to Norway. We are huge vinyl collectors and we love to discover new (to us) music that originates in our area of travel. We walked into Roald's store on a rainy day and found a long lost friend! He greeted us as if we had known him for years. He was genuinely interested in our musical tastes and what we collect. He then used that knowledge to introduce us to music we otherwise would not have found. He played these selections for us to sample before we purchased. This was seriously the best vinyl store owner we have ever encountered in our 50 years of collecting. We came home with many finds care of Roald and his knowledge. We are so grateful to have found his store and to find this home away from home for any vinyl junkie out there. We collect almost all genres of music and we came back with a selection of bluegrass, classic country, blues, psych rock, folk and jazz. He single handedly supplied the beginnings of our Norsk section and has inspired us to pursue many artists from our conversations. What a sweet and genuine guy... we really found a gem! Huge amount of secondhand vinyl. If you live digging for a vinyl gem this is the place to go. Prices are very reasonable for Norway.I picked up a few albums and a rare pressing of a link single, cheaper than Discogs!
