Voss Vandrarheim Hostel

Wow! My first hostel exceeded expectations. I would choose over any Lux resort. Sauna, full organic breakfast of fruit, veggies, eggs and fresh breads. Room with a lake view! So much awesomeness!

Well located. Great breakfast. Shower will flood the bathroom. Bunk beds could use better ladders.

skittne senger, mat full i hår, fant tann og negler i senga, var blod i senga og muggel, mye hår i sluken, skitne rom, totalt 1/10, ligger et hotell 1 km fra, legg dere heller inn der!

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Voss Vandrarheim. We struggled to find house/apartment accommodation for our one-night stay in Voss during our Norwegian family adventure, so opted to stay at this hostel. As expected the accommodation is basic but is very clean & tidy. We had everything we needed. We required a 4 bed room which are located on the road/train-track side of the building, however, the insulation and double glazing meant there was hardly a noise to be heard inside the room. We all sleep very well. The ensuite bathroom is small but the room itself is a good size so plenty of space for the 4 of us with all our luggage. The hostel is located right beside Lake Vangsvatnet and the views from the large communal deck and the dining room are spectacular. There is a well-equipped communal kitchen with 2 large shared fridges for storing perishables. The included breakfast was amazing - a good range of options: incl. cold meats, fresh locally grown fruit and organic milk.

Spartansk, men heilt greit om du berre treng ei overnatting. Ikkje noko bacon til frokost der nei.

Vi var en gjeng som overnattet en helg i Juni 2022.Super service, god beliggenhet ved Vangs vatnet og helt ok rom.Frokost med ingen mangler.Kommer tilbake :)
