Ferry to Stavanger

The highlight of our trip! My wife and I took the MS Stavanger from Bergen to Stavanger and then on to Hirtshals Denmark. Our stay was in one of the captains suites with its large french windows set out from the ship to catch views in every direction.The suite was stunning. Massive for a ship, with a full bathroom and shower. Complimentary minibar was stocked full with soda, beer and wine.Our sailing had clear skies so we enjoyed the stunning views of the fjords and sea all the way to Stavanger and then went down for the captains buffet. The buffet 350NOK per person when prepaid (you get a discount) is absolutely wonderful. Beef, pork, chicken, many types of fish, not to mention free beer and wine and shots. An event that filled our evening to be sure.Breakfast was also delicious but a bit hurried because we needed to get back to the suite as the ship docked in Hirtshals.Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and in good shape.Even more wonderful? We got a parking space in the aft section and everything else we needed was in the aft section with super easy access from our suite. Now that's superior planning and design! Thank you Fjord line for an unforgettable experience! This was the trip of a lifetime, finished in style!

Ich bin jetzt zum dritten Mal auf dieser Strecke mit Fjordline gefahren und zum ersten Mal war das Essen wirklich gut.Es geht doch!
