Heit Åkrafjorden Sauna

This sauna has spectacular views of the fjord. It has a changing room, shower, bath, and toilet at the top. Be prepared for a bit of a climb to the sauna, but it is absolutely worth it. Thanks to Kristian for helping my brother and I out at the last minute when we appeared without a booking. Rita was a great attendant. Thanks again.

Such a beauftyful and peacefully Spot. We fly from germany to bergen and made a daytrip, only to See this amazing sauna.Christian is the best host we have ever seen. We had probably the best Trip in our life.Thank Chris!

Herzlicher Empfang und persönliche Begleitung bis zur Sauna mit Erklärungen, wie, was und wo. Wundervolle Aussicht auf den Fjord. Man hat die Sauna für sich ganz alleine während der gemieteten Zeit. Gutes Schuhwerk für den Aufstieg, wie vom Beitzer empfohlen, sind wirklich hilfreich. Zur Abkühlung hat es eine wunderschöne Badewanne und eine Dusche. Komme gerne wieder!

Wunderbare Sauna mit atemberaubenden Ausblick. Waren mit sechs Personen da und haben die zwei Stunden komplett genossen.Selbst bei Regen ist es ein einmaliges Erlebnis.Zugang zum Fjord war leider nicht möglich da die Sauna auf einem kleinen Felsvorsprung steht, jedoch haben die Badewanne und die Dusche das ganze wieder gut gemacht. Beim Aufstieg sind unbedingt wetterfeste Schuhe anzuziehen.

What a special place! We enjoyed this after Trolltunga and was 100% worth it. We had some adjustments in time which were easily accommodated. Team was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend as a part of your Norway experience!

WARM, COLD, HOT, COOLI visited this sauna with my family at the last week of June.Host was very WARM and nice. He kindly explained us how to use the sauna and other equipment. He also said we are the first customer came from South Korea. We are proud of it. ^^We worried about the weather a little bit because it was rainy day even though it was not heavy rain. But, he told us it is perfect condition to enjoy sauna. Actually, it was as he mentioned.This sauna is not located aside fjord but on the hill of mountain. Thus, we had to walk about 5min to get there. When arrived, we felt it is worthwhile enough to climb.Because of its location, it provides the wonderful view and completely protected private place/time.He set up the tub outside sauna and it is filled with COLD glacier water. It made perfect combination with HOT sauna.I highly recommend this sauna for the people and family want to enjoy COOL experience near Folgefonna National Park.

Heerlijke privé sauna met prachtig uitzicht over het fjord. Super vriendelijke en enthousiaste eigenaar. Sauna was al helemaal opgewarmd toen we aankwamen en het bad was gevuld met koud gletjserwater, heerlijk om steeds even in af te koelen. Aanrader!

It was such an incredible experience. It’s a perfect spot to relax after the trollunga hike and enjoy the stunning view from the sauna. Definitely one of the highlights in our Norway trip.Kristian is so passionate about the place that has been around for generations. Would highly recommend this place~
