Fullstendig useriøse og prøver å skjule sine grove og alvorlige feil ved å unndra saker fra offentligheten

Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet) is a Norwegian government agency responsible for safe food and drinking water, and works within the fields of human, plant, fish and animals health as well as environmentally friendly production and ethically acceptable farming of animals and fish. Be informed about the mishandling of pets in the quarantine facilities. My pet arrived from Ukraine and was taken on quarantine by a Mattilsynet veterinatian, and sent to Moreppen. After 42 days of isolation my pet lost a lot of weight, was light as a feather, didn’t eat or drink anything, had feces stuck to fur, smelled generally bad, was walking slowly, not active.I took my pet immediately to a veterinary clinic. Veterinarian assesment was the following: very thin, very sick, exhausted, severely dehydrated, needs emergency treatment or risks dying. My pet got intravenous treatment and stayed in clinic for more examinations. I got prescription as well. The veterinarian stated it clear: if my pet waited for any longer it could die.I was in contact with Mattilsynet during the whole quarantine and they claimed my pet was doing «fine». After my last complaint to Mattilsynet, they insisted my pet was doing fine and ate appropriate amounts of food. I consider this a lie. I have veterinarian’s assesment, list of procedures my pet underwent in a clinic and medicine prescription.I saw some quarantine facilities replying to the complaining owners, insisting that pets were fine and people from Mattilsynet saw pets themselves before departure. These are either lies, or talks a lot about the incompetence of people working both at the quarantine facilities and Mattilsynet themselves.I don’t believe them, my pet could die and I have witnesses.___An update on my review above and regarding pets arriving from Ukraine due to the war circumstances:Unfortunately, there are many more cases being shared in social media from the owners of poor care in Mattilsynet’s quarantine facilities, including cases of preventable diseases, death and putting pets to sleep without owners permission.
