Beautiful lake in the summer, and the water is perfect for swimming.In the winter there is an ice skating track on it and you can cross country ski around it. Can also see the northern lights if you are lucky!

It's a beautiful lake and a must visit place if you are in Oslo. The lake is a popular place for family and friends both in winters as well as summers. Perfect place to go when it's bright and sunny in Oslo and where you can have quality time with your kids and do lot of water activities or may be just sun bathing. Its very popular so it does attract a lot of crowd and it gets very crowded especially over the weekend but it's worth coming here.

Nous avons fait une randonnée d'environ 13 kms qui part de Sognsvann (accessible en métro) jusqu'à Midtstuen (métro également) en passant par Ullevåseter où il y a un café qui sert des pâtisseries bon marchéC'était génial, les paysages sont superbes, on s'attendait pas à de la neige en avril, ce qui a été une agréable surprise malgré la difficulté supplémentaire pour marcher (car par endroit on s'enfonçait)Le balisage des rando est excellent, et c'est très bien aménagé, pour que n'importe quel publique puisse en profiter

Fint område, bra joggeløype, god utsikt over byen.
