Skifterud Gård is amazing ecological farm in the middle of the beautiful nature. It offers very cozy accomodation. You can stay in the cozy cabin and during summer months you can enjoy the real connection with the nature if you stay in the tee-pee. The farm is surrounded by amazing nature. You can overview the valley, Tinnsjå lake and surrounding stunning mountains. Short walk from the farm and you can see and admire the mighty Gaustatoppen. You can pet the animals, the goats and the horses are always here. The hosts - Rupert and Gabby - are just amazing, heartwarming people who can tell you a lot about Norway, give you the best tips for the trips around the area and learn you a lot about nature and ecological farming. So if you are a nature lover this place is definitely a must if you are in the area. But if you are looking for hotel type accomodation with all the comfort of the city, forget about it and go soewhere else.
